We are very excited to announce the addition of Rebecca Nelles as head trainer at Charlotte's Creek Farms located in Ona, WV.

Rebecca is a USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medalist and has been training with USDF 'S' judge and former USEF Team member, Kay Meredith for many years. She has also had the opportunity to clinic with Reinhard Neilsen of Gestut Groenwohldhof, FEI 'O' judge, Linda Zang, and most recently, Olympian Steffan Peters. Rebecca has been working as the assistant trainer at Hidden Spring Farm in Knightdale, NC under head trainer Kay Meredith, for the last several years.

Rebecca has successfully brought along several horses from training level through Intermediare I under Kay's tutelage. Rebecca and her horses have won or placed for many USDF, NCDCTA, and SWANA Championships and Year-End Awards. She has most recently and successfully shown Kay Meredith's Swedish gelding, Royal Scandal Mangalam through Grand Prix and Diane Tauber's Swedish mare, Rytmik, through I-1.

Rebecca will be available for training, lessons (trailer-in only) or clinics, beginning July 2012. Training openings are very limited, so please contact Jen at (304) 208-5224 for availability.


March 24

Rebecca & Diane Tauber's Rytmik won their Intermediare I class with a score of 65.3% at March Magic II in Williamston.

Rebecca and Diane Tauber's Rytmik won the $250 Sotheby's Stakes Small Tour FEI Prix St. Georges class at the Harvest Moon Dressage Show with a score of 65.2%.

January 2011

Rebecca and Vested Interest placed 4th at 3rd Level Open for the 2010 NCDCTA Horse of the Year Standings.

November 2010

The Region 1 USDF/GAIG Championships were held in North Carolina for the first time in over 20 years. Rebecca and Vested Interest ("Victor") took 5th place out of 17 horses in the 3rd Level Open Championship class, a really good result since they had only gone to 2 shows this year prior to the Championships to show at 3rd Level.

September 2010

At the NCDCTA Labor of Love Championship Show, Rebecca and Vested Interest won the 3rd Level Open Championship with a score of 63.3%; Mary DeCoursey and Victor De CER ("Trace") took 5th place in the Adult Amateur Training Level division; and Ginger Nelles and Glamour Girl ("G.G.") took 6th place in the Adult Amateur Training Level division. The "Barn Babes" team (Mary and Trace, Ginger and G.G., Rebecca riding Silent Wolf and Debora Hayward riding Sir Rikers Reign) took 4th place in the Pro/Am Team Challenge.
